Built upon the powerful functionality of previous versions, FormReader 6.5 Desktop Edition includes the following both technology and user interface enhancements:

1. Multi-page documents support
   Assembling and proper exporting of multi-page documents which have fixed number of pages that go in the predefined order. Correctness of document assembly is checked against a special link field. Exporting data captured from a document to a single table string or database record.
2. Opening images in PDF format
   Images in PDF format can be added to a batch.
3. Saving images in PDF format
   Any image from a batch can be saved in PDF format by using "Save Image as" menu command.
4. Scanning by using ISIS drivers
   Support of ISIS drivers provides possibility to perform scanning by using more than 250 different high-speed scanners that communicate through the industry standard, enterprise-level ISIS interface.
5. Enhanced options of checkmarks and checkmark groups
   The following new possibilities are supported:
   • assigning arbitrary alphabetic-numerical values to each checkmark,
   • combining checkmarks in groups independently of checkmarks' location
   on the image.
6. New ICR languages: Latvian
   Latvian handprint recognition language with dictionary is supported.
7. One-page VB Script rules
   New type of pre-defined validation rules that allows creating any rule by using well-known Visual Basic language.
8. Enhanced FlexiCapture Studio module
