ABBYY FineReader can recognize TIFF and JPEG files created by any digital cameras.
It's recommended to use a 4-megapixel digital camera, ideally equipped with the following features:

- Manual aperture control or aperture priority mode

- An anti-shake feature
- Optical zoom

Recognition Languages
ABBYY FineReader 8.0 supports 179 recognition languages, including 36 languages with dictionary support. For languades with dictionary support you may use the FineReader spell-checking system.
